  • NEW YORK — Nick Richards tripped to Kentucky for the second time in a month last weekend for Big Blue Madness and still ranks the Wildcats among those at the top of his college wish list.

    “It was good, I liked it,” the 6-foot-11 Richards told me before scoring 10 points and winning the Sportsmanship Award as the New Jersey Upperclassmen lost to the New York Upperclasssmen, 103-92, in the Sharette Dixon Classic at Gauchos Gym. “It was a nice experience.”

    He added: “It was like a family-type thing. Everybody treats each other like family. I just like the whole vibe, even the coaches.”

    Here’s a look towards this weekend’s recruiting visits and other news. This list will be updated throughout the weekend.

    **Duke will host several prospects this weekend for “Countdown to Craziness,” including Class of 2017 prospects Gary Trent Jr.Matt Coleman and Wendell Carter Jr., and Class of 2018 standouts Zion Williamson, Tre Jones and Cameron Reddish. Williamson also visits N.C. State on Friday.

    **Syracuse will host several prospects for “Orange Madness,” including Class of 2017 guard Quade Green, Canadian small forward Oshae Brissett, Class of 2018 standout Naz Reid, and 2019 guards Kahlil Whitney and Isaiah Wong (via Pat Lawless).

    **Virginia Tech hosts an impressive group of prospects including, 2017 forward Antwan Walker, along with 2018’s Kiyon Boyd, Xavier Johnson, and Deshaun Wade. They have also hosted 2019’s Armando Bacot, Aundre Hyatt, Wendell Moore, Josh Nickelberry, Marvin Price, and commit BJ Mack.

    **Aundre Hyatt, the 6-6 Class of 2019 forward from the Miller (GA) School, will also take an unofficial to VCU this weekend.
